When Pioneer Services offered MilitaryEmail, our goal was to offer service members the best e-mail possible, at no charge, and without advertising. Since then, sponsored providers like Yahoo® and Hotmail® have developed highly advanced e-mail features, including photo sharing, mobile phone access, and integration with instant messaging services. To offer all those features to our members today, we would have to charge a fee or introduce advertising, both of which would violate our original commitment.

It is for these reasons that we have closed this service as of August 1, 2006. After this date, all accounts and messages will be deleted.

We recommend that our customers consider other e-mail providers, such as Yahoo®, Hotmail®, or Gmail®, where advanced features are available at no charge.
